Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026 Applies to: https://menopausal.me (https://menopausal.me), our member portal, and related services (the "Services"), operated by menopausal.me ("menopausal.me," "we," "us").
1. Overview
menopausal.me provides menopause and perimenopause telehealth — clinician consultations, lab testing, prescription therapies, education, and a member community. We take the privacy of your information, especially your health information, seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices.
2. Important note about health information
Some information you give us is protected by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"). How we handle that Protected Health Information (PHI) is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP), which controls in any conflict with this Policy for PHI. Certain consumer health data is also covered by our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (for Washington, Nevada, and similar laws). This Policy covers information that is not otherwise governed by those notices, plus general website data.
3. Information we collect
You provide: - Account & identity: name, email, password, date of birth, phone, shipping/billing address, state of residence (we verify you're in a state where we operate). - Health information: intake/health-history questionnaire and the eligibility quiz, symptoms, medications, allergies, lab results, treatment preferences, messages to your care team. - Payment: processed by our payment processor (our payment processor); we do not store full card numbers. - Communications: messages, support requests, community posts, survey responses.
Collected automatically: - Device & usage: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar analytics, via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Notice).
From third parties: - Lab partners (Tasso), pharmacies (our partner pharmacies), and your providers, to deliver care; identity/eligibility verification services.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services and your care.
- Connect you with licensed clinicians; process consultations, lab orders, and prescriptions.
- Process payments and memberships.
- Communicate with you (appointment reminders, results availability, service updates) — see §6.
- Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- Conduct research and analytics using de-identified data (data that cannot reasonably identify you) consistent with applicable law.
We do not use your health information to target third-party advertising to you.
5. How we share information
- Your care team & care partners: clinicians, our partner pharmacies, Tasso, and our EHR provider (our electronic health records provider) to deliver your care.
- Service providers (Business Associates): vendors that process data on our behalf (hosting, payments, communications) under contracts that restrict their use of your information. Vendors handling PHI sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or prevent harm.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent: e.g., if you ask us to share records.
We do not sell your personal information or health information, and we do not share health information with advertising networks or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Marketing & communications
With your consent where required, we may send you emails and text messages about your care and our Services. You can opt out anytime — unsubscribe links in emails, or reply STOP to texts. Transactional messages (e.g., security, appointment, or order notices) are not marketing and may continue. See the SMS/Email Consent terms.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, and limited analytics. You can control non-essential cookies via our cookie banner and your browser. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of "sale"/"sharing" where applicable. See our Cookie Notice.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights. - California (CCPA/CPRA) and other state residents: submit requests to mike@diametrics.ai or 954-445-8144. We verify your identity before responding and respond within the timeframes the law requires. You may use an authorized agent. - Health information is handled under the HIPAA NPP and Consumer Health Data Policy, which provide additional rights. - We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and medical-recordkeeping obligations (which can require multi-year retention of medical records under state law), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, then delete or de-identify it.
11. Children
The Services are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact mike@diametrics.ai.
12. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party sites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies.
13. U.S. only
The Services are intended for users in the United States where we operate. We do not offer services internationally.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
